1. What Information We Collect
To provide you with event registration and participation services, we collect: account information (mobile number, nickname, avatar), registration information (name, division entered, payment records), and any materials you voluntarily submit.
With your authorization, we may obtain location information to recommend nearby events; you can revoke this authorization at any time in your system settings.
2. How We Use Information
Your information is used only to: complete registration and payment, sync the participant roster to organizers, publish competition results and points, and for legally required purposes. We will not sell your personal information to any third party.
3. Error Monitoring and Diagnostic Data
To ensure product stability, we use a client-side error monitoring service to collect crash and exception logs. These logs contain device model, operating system version, app version, and exception stack traces, and do not include your chat content or plaintext payment credentials.
Diagnostic data is transmitted and stored after de-identification, retained for no more than 180 days, and used solely to locate and fix problems. You may request access to or deletion of diagnostic records related to your device via legal@hiyoung.cloud.
Error and crash diagnostic data is collected by our self-hosted error monitoring service (GlitchTip); the servers and data are stored within mainland China, and events are automatically purged after a retention period of about 90 days. The data is de-identified (mobile numbers, ID numbers, email addresses, etc. are automatically scrubbed), contains no personally identifiable information, and is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking. You can turn off error diagnostic reporting in the client's "Settings," and website visits also respect the browser's "Do Not Track (DNT)" and local opt-out settings.
In addition, for traffic statistics and analysis of the geographic distribution of failures, we perform coarse-grained geographic location based on your IP address (province / city level, not precise location), used for visit-region statistics on the data dashboard and for troubleshooting the geographic distribution of errors. This location is on an anonymous statistical basis, is not linked to your personal identity, and you may likewise stop the related collection through the aforementioned "Do Not Track" and opt-out settings.
4. Information Sharing and Disclosure
We share necessary information only in the following circumstances: syncing participation information to the organizer of the event you register for; passing order information to payment institutions to complete collection; and disclosures required by laws and regulations. All partners have signed data protection agreements.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to deactivate your account. You can do this yourself in the App under "Settings - Privacy." After deactivation, we will delete or anonymize your data within 15 business days (except where retention is required by law).
6. Protection of Minors
Registration for children's divisions must be completed by a guardian, who confirms the guardianship relationship. We apply stricter access controls to minors' information and do not use it for any marketing purposes.
